An introspective approach to a self portrait. The material used literally came to me. As with many of my works I put to good use the material most prevalently accessible in the urban setting—societies disgurded plastic. Maliable, abundantly available, and non-corosive, disguarded plastic has become a mainstay in my practice largely because of the ethical utility and efficiency of upcycling waste material into works of fine art. 
 
This work looks at the sobering realization of having lost a love and the tremendous longing for her return to the affair that has all but faded away.
